Well everything seems to be getting a roof now, which is a good thing given the weather...this is the veledrome...one from the road underneath, and one from the A102 - I was expecting to get grabbed by the police as I whipped out the camera....

It's not that I've not been cycling...although I haven't, it's just that most of the interesting building is happening elsewhere on the site...plus some pictures I took corrupted...still here's the stadium tonight

Oh how time flies...can't believe I haven't updated this for a while month and more. Here's some pics taken from the train just before it draws into Stratford.

Back to cycling past the site now, which seems to have ever more cranes, and the buildings are really taking shape. In the distance I can see the swimming centre, but this is an (unknown) building which has flown up in the last few weeks. And a rather poor picture of the main stadium....it looked beautiful as the sun set, so I must learn not to shake so much!

It's holiday time...so a posting from one of the most spectacular Olympic sites. Munich may be remembered less for its architecture and more for the terrible events during the games, but the Olympic Park is truly inspiring. And it is now being refurbished...
